Spring Break - Prague

Obama is coming to prague on the 5th of dubna - don't you know that means April

The church at Namesti Miru metro stop - we never found out what church it was...

Theres another picture of it

Martine in the ever so stylish Prague metro

Namesti Miru (pronounced - nah mah stay mee rooo) interesting.

A lovely painted building

Walking along St. Wenceslas Square

A church steeple & a tram

This is the statue of St. Wenceslas (Svaty Vaclave) in front of the archeological museum

Wow, H&M is expensive in prague...

Oh, this is the town hall, I'm pretty sure

a beautiful clock tower

In Old Town Square

A statue of someone, I couldn't understand this name :(

Inside the church of St. Nicholas

The door at the church of St. Nicolas

the outside of St. Nicolas

Pilsner Urquell - yum

The famous clock that some guy made and then when he was done, someone poked his eyes out so he could never make anything as beautiful ever again - this is a common theme in ancient history, which honestly, would make me not want to make beautiful things...

A water fountain

Painting buildings is their thing in Prague

This is Gollum, which is their superhero - he can change the weather and does nice things for the people from Prague

Don Giovanni - this is the sign for the marionette show that we saw here, it was in its original italian - as it is an opera.

Dinner - vegetables!

And potato pancakes!

the marionettes

She was my favorite - she had a beautiful voice and was the prettiest of all of them

That was probably the coolest part of Prague

Notice the hands under the curtains - it was really well done! The guy in black in the center is Don Giovanni

This is mozart - he was conducting, but he got drunk, and then he was blowing kisses to us. The guy who controlled him was EXCELLENT!

So, one of the controllers came  on stage (because they totally did a funny ending to it) and accidentally knocked over the puppet that is lying on the floor. He administered CPR to him...
There he is again, he really wanted them to stop acting, I think it was their funny ending, so he kept hanging them up and then yelling at them because they kept singing etc.

Don Giovanni - what a player.

What?? Its snowing in Prague???

I don't know if you can see the snow or not, but its falling - theres Martine in the snow

The palace on the way up to Prague Castle

A church that we didn't go inside of because it cost way too much money

Inside the church of the Holy Infant

Sorry its blurry. Of all the things I have learned from my time abroad, the most important is that its impossible to get a good picture inside of a church.

The lectern - baroque, baroque, baroque (elaborate, overdone, extravagant)

The only reason I got a picture of this is because it was sitting right in front of the John Lennon Peace Wall - which you should now examine the pictures of on your own:

We literally spent about an hour looking at that wall - our quote: "we all want to change the world"
